cancer_golf.jpgA three strong team from Space Solutions Aberdeen office is preparing to tee-off and take on Macmillan Cancer Relief’s Longest Day Golf Challenge 2006.

Steve Smith, Mark Dellaquaglia and Shaun McEwan (pictured right) will be swinging into action on Wednesday 28th June at Banchory Golf Club where they hope to raise more than £500 in sponsorship for the cancer care charity by playing four rounds of golf in just one day.

Team captain Steve Smith says, “We really wanted to take on the Challenge and help Macmillan Cancer Relief because we’ve all be touched by cancer in some way, either personally or through friends and family.  We are all aware that it will be no easy feat completing four rounds of golf in one day, but are getting some great support to raise as much money as possible.”

Colin Montgomerie, OBE is supporting the event for the third year said, “The Longest Day Challenge is the perfect excuse to have the ultimate golfing day, while raising money for Macmillan Cancer Relief.”
