Space Solutions sponsors key accolade at Talking Tayside Awards
The fifth annual awards ceremony celebrating the capabilities of contact centres and their staff will take place in Dundee later this year.

Talking Tayside Awards The Talking Tayside Awards, which will be held at the Apex City Quay Hotel on November 24, will bring together representatives from a wide range of organisations from across the contact centre industry.

Scottish architecture, workplace design and space planning practice Space Solutions is sponsoring the prestigious Operations Manager of the Year Award.

The accolade recognises the vital role of the operations manager in ensuring all aspects of the smooth running of a contact centre. Nominees will be judged on their excellence in a major programme or project which has impacted on their centre over the past year, as well as all round management skills.

Steve Judge, managing director of Space Solutions, said: “Contact centres have become an increasingly important source of employment across Scotland and significantly so across Tayside.  Recent figures estimate that 105,000 people across the country work in contact centres, an industry that is worth £2.2billion a year.

“Given the fluctuating nature of the business, it is vital that contact centres provide stimulating work environments which are comfortable and enjoyable places to work. Space Solutions is delighted to be supporting the industry both through sponsorship of the Talking Tayside Awards and by providing move management services and practical support on space planning which in turn has a positive impact on staff productivity and retention levels.”

The well established awards ceremony is considered the highest profile and most important event throughout the year for people in the contact centres market.

There will be 12 award categories in total, each recognising the role that the individual or contact centre plays in their organization and the local community.
