Architects and space planners Space Solutions are continuing their expansion with a broadening portfolio and growing workforce.  The latest developments come hard on the heels of a move to purpose-built facilities at 50 Carden Place.

The move, in November, to bigger and better premises, offering an improved range of resources, came at the right time as the team were embarking on some demanding projects for new clients around the UK, including ENI and DNV.

The firm has a wide customer base, including clients in the broadcast media, the medical sector, the sports and leisure industry as well as charitable trusts and the utilities.  

MD Steve Judge is keen to congratulate his team on the broad range of projects they have addressed recently.  “The reality is that for a long time Space were primarily known for our work in office environments, and whilst that is still an important part of our business, we have been able to recruit some very talented people with immense capabilities in specific sectors.  With this wider expertise available we have undertaken some challenging projects in other fields, broadening our portfolio with confidence.  Not wishing to take this growth for granted we also recognised the need to strengthen our Business Development and Marketing team.”

Carol Wilson has joined in the role of Marketing Co-ordinator.  A graduate of RGU, Carol joins from an oil service company where she worked on a wide range of marketing and PR initiatives.  “Space is a fascinating company to work with.” said Carol.  “The position will give me a terrific opportunity to develop my skills even further in a very positive and creative environment, where there is lots of scope for testing new ideas.”

The appointment of Lee Brandie further strengthens the Business Development team.  “Lee has experience in a variety of industry sectors which will stand him in good stead” says Business Development Manager, Jan Emery.  “I know Carol and Lee will both make a significant contribution in their own way.  We have some great ideas to put in place and now we have the full team to help us achieve that.  Forgive the pun, but watch this Space!!”
