| Something odd about Space Solutions? | | Print | |

Scottish Architectural practice, Space Solutions had four major property agents working exclusively for them at their Edinburgh offices earlier this week. These agents were working as odd-job men for the day after being purchased by Space in an auction at the recent Office Agents Society (OAS) dinner. This particular lot was donated by the Office Agents Society Committee and helped to raise over £4500 for Leap for Meningitis and The Sick Kids charities. Derek Binnie, Director of Space Solutions in the Central Belt, said, “With the many Architectural, Design and Relocation projects that we are undertaking at the moment, it was great to have some extra help around the office. We certainly put the OAS odd-job team to good use during the morning.” Mike Irvine (Montagu Evans) explains that he and the rest of the odd-job team of Robin Blacklock (CB Richard Ellis), Chris Cuthbert (Cushman Wakefield) and Craig Watson (Jones Lang LaSalle) had been looking forward to the day with nervous anticipation. “We have been ‘auctioned off’ for the last four years and have had to do some weird and wonderful tasks. We know the guys at Space Solutions well and were a little concerned about what the odd-jobs might entail. However we really enjoyed our morning working with the Space team.”Derek Binnie added, “What was fantastic was the way our staff and the agents entered in to the spirit off the day. We decided to take the opportunity to raise even more money for charity by asking staff to make a contribution for the odd-job men to wash their cars, the money raised was matched by the company and donated to the DEC Niger Crisis Appeal.” |
