| New space in Aberdeen's west end |
|
Scottish architecture and space planning business Space Solutions has been brought in to design and manage the interior refurbishment of office accommodation in Aberdeen’s sought-after west end. Work is currently underway to transform the four-storey period building at 11 Rubislaw Terrace into around 3,400sq ft of contemporary office space fully outfitted for modern business needs. The development, which will provide flexible, open-plan office space designed to the highest standards – and comes with private car parking facilities – opens up much needed rental opportunities within the fashionable city centre location. The 11-week contract, worth in excess of £200,000, is expected to be complete and space available to rent from July. Fraser Gordon, who owns the former dwelling house, said: “Rubislaw Terrace is a traditional granite building in a prime location in the heart of Aberdeen’s west end. This beautiful old building will be completely refurbished, retaining many of its Victorian features whilst creating a modern, high quality office space. “Properties of this calibre are not readily available in Aberdeen and we are confident that it won’t remain on the market for long.” Space Solutions has extensive experience in transforming traditional cellular west end buildings to meet contemporary business requirements. Managing director Steve Judge said: “By demonstrating a key understanding of what today’s modern companies require from their space and through adopting highly flexible working practices, Space Solutions continues to secure an increasing volume of high profile refurbishment projects in this area. “Due to the lack of availability of this type of accommodation in the west end of Aberdeen we are sure this building will appeal to a whole range of potential tenants.” For further information on rental opportunities within 11 Rubislaw Terrace contact Fraser Gordon on 01224 769966. |
