| New business manager boosts Space Solutions central belt operation |
SCOTTISH architecture, workplace design and space planning practice Space Solutions have appointed a new business manager to lead the growth of its move management and relocations division across the central belt.
Chris Andres, 29, previously worked as a relocation consultant with a move management firm where he was responsible for building and developing a national client base in Scotland.His appointment comes just days after a management buy out following one of the most successful years in Space Solutions 10 year history in which turnover has rocketed to almost £10million. It follows a string of other new starts at Space Solutions’ Edinburgh and Glasgow bases as the company experiences unprecedented demand for their professional and contract services. Building surveyor Athol Murray also recently joined the ranks, bringing the total number of staff based throughout the central belt to 40. As business manager, Mr Andres will lead the development of a new client base, managing their move projects whilst streamlining the service for existing clients. Commenting on his appointment, he said: “I am looking forward to the challenges this new and exciting post will bring, and am confident that my experience will further enhance Space Solutions growing presence in this competitive market. “In the months to come I will build on the move management side of the business by working with the various divisions within Space to maximise the professional service we offer both existing and future clients.” Space Solutions has grown to become one of the leading and most innovative providers of its kind in Scotland, delivering an all-encompassing property solution service.
