| Space Solutions structure for future growth |

Architects and office design specialists, Space Solutions (Scotland) Limited has made a series of changes to the internal structure to support the business as it continues to grow. Derek Binnie, who has been with the company for 4 years, has been appointed as Director. He is responsible for the growth and development of Space operations in the Central Belt, with a staff of 23 across two offices. He is ably assisted by Clive Cruickshank, who has been appointed as Associate Director. Clive is a member of RIBA and an experienced project architect who assumes responsibility for the smooth delivery of all architectural and design projects from the Central Belt studio team. In Aberdeen similar changes have been made to the internal structure with the appointment of Angus Smith to Associate Director. Angus has almost 20 years experience and is currently project architect on the exciting £2.4m new HO and multi-resource centre for Inspire. To support the development of the Space team throughout Scotland, Mark DellaQuaglia has been appointed as Technical Associate. This position will develop the technical awareness of building regulations and architectural systems and software. This will further develop our in-house competency and ensure we are making the most of the technical knowledge and software at our disposal. Steve Judge, managing director at Space Solutions explains the reason for the changes, “These new appointments reflect a desire to develop an infrastructure for the future, capable of supporting the business as it continues to grow. It also allows us to reward key members of the team who have been with the company for a number of years. Our Client’s will benefit from increasingly cohesive approach and the expertise of all staff as we grow and support our Client’s needs on a UK wide basis.” Space Solutions now employs 70 personnel across Scotland and is in the unique position of being able to offer a full range of property services from architecture and space planning to relocation and logistics packages – which allow us to offer clients totally integrated solutions to help identify and make the best use of their chosen commercial space. |
